Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Senior QA Engineer with 6–8 years of software quality assurance experience and strong Arabic language proficiency. The role is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, performance, and usability of software products across web and mobile platforms.

The successful candidate will work across manual and automated testing, API validation, database testing, performance testing, network traffic inspection, and emerging AI/ML testing practices. Strong hands-on experience with Selenium, Appium, Playwright, Python, JMeter, API testing, and SQL will be essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end testing of web and mobile applications across browsers, operating systems, and devices.
• Conduct front-end UI testing to validate responsiveness, usability, functionality, and visual consistency.
• Execute manual testing using network interceptor and proxy tools such as Proxyman or Charles.
• Inspect and manipulate network traffic to support troubleshooting and test validation.
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, Appium, Playwright, and Python.
• Design and execute performance and load tests using JMeter to assess scalability, stability, and reliability.
• Perform REST and GraphQL API testing using Postman or comparable frameworks.
• Validate API functionality, reliability, data integrity, and security-related requirements.
• Conduct database testing using SQL queries to verify data integrity, consistency, and backend functionality.
• Participate in AI/ML testing, including model output validation, data quality checks, and bias detection where applicable.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams within an Agile environment.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution.
• Contribute to test planning, test case design, test strategy, and QA documentation.
• Continuously improve QA processes, automation frameworks, testing tools, and engineering practices.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience

• 6–8 years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance / Testing.
• Strong experience testing both web and mobile applications.
• Professional proficiency in Arabic is required.
• Strong experience in manual and automated testing methodologies.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

Automation & Programming

• Hands-on experience with:
  • Selenium
  • Appium
  • Playwright
• Proficiency in Python for automation scripting and test framework development.
• Experience developing and maintaining automated test suites.

Performance Testing

• Experience with JMeter or equivalent performance testing tools.
• Ability to design and execute load and performance tests.
• Understanding of scalability, reliability, and performance validation.

API & Database Testing

• Strong understanding of API testing methodologies.
• Experience testing REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Postman or similar API testing tools.
• Good knowledge of database testing.
• Proficiency in SQL for backend data validation and integrity checks.

Network & AI Testing

• Familiarity with network proxy/interceptor tools such as Proxyman or Charles.
• Exposure to AI/ML testing concepts and validation techniques.
• Understanding of model output validation, data quality testing, and bias detection is advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• ISTQB or relevant QA certification is a plus.
