Job Overview
A growing construction organization in Riyadh is hiring experienced Quality Control Engineers (QC Engineers) to join its QA/QC department for ongoing project-based construction operations. The selected candidate will play a critical role in ensuring all construction activities comply with approved drawings, technical specifications, contract requirements, applicable engineering standards, and project quality plans. Key Responsibilities
- Review project drawings, specifications, and construction documents
- Prepare Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, procedures, and quality checklists
- Conduct site inspections and raise Inspection Requests (IRs)
- Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), corrective actions, and preventive actions
- Review and verify material submittals and approvals
- Coordinate with execution, planning, procurement, and HSE departments
- Monitor material testing activities including concrete, steel, and MEP systems
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly QA/QC reports
- Ensure compliance with ASTM, BS, ACI, SBC, and project specifications
- Follow up on site observations and quality closure actions
- Support internal quality training and compliance awareness initiatives
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Architectural, Mechanical, or Electrical)
- 3–10 years of professional experience in QA/QC or construction quality control
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and project specifications
- Knowledge of construction quality standards and inspection procedures
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Excel
- Primavera knowledge is preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and report-writing abilities
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently under project deadlines and site pressure
