Job Overview
ICAD Company is seeking a skilled Automotive Electrician to join its operations in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Key Responsibilities
• Diagnose electrical and electronic faults in modern vehicles.
• Design, repair, and modify vehicle wiring harness systems.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot high-performance Electronic Control Units (ECUs).
• Utilize diagnostic tools including Launch and Autel scanners to identify system issues.
• Read, interpret, and analyze electrical wiring diagrams and technical schematics.
• Assemble, repair, and maintain automotive wiring looms and electrical components.
• Perform system testing and verification to ensure operational reliability.
• Support vehicle electrical upgrades, modifications, and enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance activities.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education
• Diploma in Automotive Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a related field.
Experience
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as an Automotive Electrician or Automotive Electronics Technician.
• Experience working with modern vehicle electrical and electronic systems.
• Hands-on experience using automotive diagnostic equipment and testing tools.
Technical Skills
• Strong knowledge of automotive electrical and electronic systems.
• Expertise in OBD (On-Board Diagnostics) systems.
• Experience with CAN Bus communication protocols.
• Knowledge of ECU programming, installation, and configuration.
• Ability to diagnose and repair complex vehicle electrical faults.
• Experience interpreting wiring diagrams and electrical schematics.
• Familiarity with Launch and Autel diagnostic scanners.
• Knowledge of wiring harness and wiring loom assembly and repair.
