Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Office Engineer specializing in Utilities Diversion and Disconnection projects to join a leading construction company in Saudi Arabia. This position is ideal for engineering professionals with extensive expertise in MEP and infrastructure projects, utility network coordination, technical office operations, and engineering documentation management. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting complex utility and infrastructure developments while ensuring technical compliance, project efficiency, and operational continuity.

The role requires advanced knowledge of utility diversion planning, infrastructure coordination, MEP quantity take-offs, clash detection processes, and engineering documentation. Candidates will work closely with project teams, consultants, contractors, and utility authorities to support the successful execution of power, water, sewer, irrigation, and district cooling network projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage technical office activities related to utility diversion and disconnection projects.
  • Review and coordinate engineering drawings, technical submissions, and project documentation.
  • Prepare and review shop drawings and as-built drawings.
  • Coordinate utility diversion works involving power, water, sewer, irrigation, and district cooling networks.
  • Perform MEP quantity take-offs (BOQ) and support project estimation activities.
  • Conduct clash detection reviews and coordinate resolution among project disciplines.
  • Develop method statements and shutdown execution plans.
  • Support infrastructure project planning, technical evaluations, and engineering coordination.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, utility authorities, and project stakeholders.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.

Experience

  • Minimum 12 years of experience in MEP and infrastructure projects.
  • Proven experience in utility diversion and disconnection projects.
  • Strong technical office engineering background.
  • Experience working on large-scale infrastructure and utility network developments.
