Key Responsibilities
- Design, prepare, and execute comprehensive test cases and test scenarios.
- Perform software testing activities to validate functionality, performance, and quality standards.
- Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution.
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to ensure software quality objectives are met.
- Review business and technical requirements to develop effective testing strategies.
- Conduct manual testing and support automation testing initiatives when applicable.
- Validate software releases and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Participate in software quality assurance processes throughout the SDLC and STLC.
- Prepare testing reports and communicate findings to project teams.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and quality standards.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.
- Experience in designing, preparing, and executing test cases and test scenarios.
- Experience in identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects.
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Knowledge of manual testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with software quality assurance best practices.
- Automation testing experience is considered an advantage.
Soft Skills
