This position plays a critical role in validating system functionality related to contributions, eligibility verification, benefits administration, and claims processing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand Social Insurance business processes including contributions, eligibility validation, benefits administration, and claims workflows.
  • Review business requirements and identify functional, business, or regulatory clarifications when necessary.
  • Prepare comprehensive test conditions, test cases, and test data aligned with QA Governance standards.
  • Maintain and update testing documentation while incorporating stakeholder review feedback.
  • Execute assigned test cases and accurately document test results.
  • Log, track, validate, and manage defects throughout the defect lifecycle.
  • Re-raise defects when required and validate defect closure activities.
  • Support the Test Lead in preparing governance metrics, dashboards, and status reports.
  • Ensure compliance with QA standards, documentation controls, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with business teams and stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum 4 years of functional testing experience.
  • Experience within Life Insurance, Social Insurance, or Benefits Administration systems is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience in test execution, defect management, and QA governance activities.
  • Experience working within regulated environments is an advantage.

Technical Skills

  • Functional software testing.
  • Test case design and execution.
  • Defect lifecycle management.
  • Test management tools such as JIRA, ALM, or equivalent platforms.
  • QA Governance processes and controls.
  • Documentation management and reporting.
  • Understanding of contribution-based insurance systems and benefits administration.
