Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst – Airline Cargo Domain with a minimum of 4+ years of hands-on experience in the air cargo industry to support airline digital transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate operational requirements into effective technology solutions and enhancements.
The role will focus on managing business requirements for CargoSpot enhancements and integrations, coordinating with internal business stakeholders and CHAMP technical teams, and supporting functional specifications, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and overall project coordination. Strong business communication and stakeholder engagement skills are essential for success in this position.
Experience working with enterprise systems such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, and related system integrations will be highly beneficial. Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, document, and refine business requirements for airline cargo systems and digital transformation initiatives.
- Engage effectively with internal business stakeholders to understand operational needs and translate them into clear functional requirements.
- Manage and support requirements related to CargoSpot enhancements and integrations.
- Coordinate with CHAMP technical teams to clarify business requirements and support solution delivery.
- Prepare and contribute to functional specifications and business process documentation.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test scenario preparation, coordination, execution, and issue tracking.
- Coordinate with business and technical teams throughout project implementation.
- Support overall project coordination and ensure alignment between business requirements and technical deliverables.
- Identify gaps between existing processes and proposed system enhancements.
- Facilitate communication between airline cargo business users, technology teams, and external solution providers.
- Support system integration initiatives involving CargoSpot and other enterprise applications.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of business processes and technology-enabled cargo operations.
Requirements & Qualifications
Mandatory Experience
- 4+ years of actual Airline Cargo / Air Cargo industry experience is required.
- Strong understanding of airline cargo business processes and operational requirements.
- Proven experience working as a Business Analyst or in a similar business-facing technology role.
- Experience engaging directly with business stakeholders and translating operational needs into technology requirements.
- Experience supporting digital transformation initiatives within the airline or cargo industry.
Cargo & Technology Skills
- Experience with CargoSpot or related airline cargo management systems.
- Understanding of CargoSpot enhancements, integrations, and business requirements management.
- Experience coordinating with technical teams such as CHAMP.
- Experience preparing or supporting functional specifications.
- Practical experience with UAT and business acceptance processes.
- Understanding of enterprise system integrations and business process flows.
Enterprise Systems – Preferred
