Key Responsibilities
- Review company contracts and agreements before approval or signing.
- Draft and amend contractual clauses to protect the company’s rights and interests.
- Ensure contracts and agreements comply with applicable Saudi laws and regulations.
- Identify potential legal risks, contractual gaps, and legal loopholes.
- Recommend appropriate remedies and risk-mitigation measures.
- Provide legal observations, recommendations, and advice relating to contracts and agreements.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to understand commercial and operational requirements.
- Ensure business requirements are appropriately reflected in contractual clauses.
- Follow up on contractual amendments and negotiations through to finalization.
- Support negotiations with relevant parties when required.
- Organize, maintain, and securely archive contracts and legal documents.
- Ensure legal documentation remains accurate, confidential, and easily accessible when required.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law or Regulations.
- Practical experience reviewing and drafting contracts and agreements.
- Good knowledge of applicable laws and regulations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- Strong ability to analyze contractual clauses and identify legal risks and obligations.
- Excellent legal drafting skills, including preparation of legal notes, memoranda, and recommendations.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle confidential legal documents professionally.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with legal, commercial, operational, and other relevant departments.
- Strong understanding of contractual risk and compliance principles.
