Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst specializing in HR payroll data management to support organizational reporting, payroll accuracy, and data-driven decision-making. The Data Analyst will play a critical role in analyzing payroll data, validating compensation records, and developing structured MIS reports and dashboards to enhance operational visibility. Working closely with HR and finance teams, the selected candidate will ensure accurate payroll processing insights, support business reporting requirements, and contribute to operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
- Analyze HR payroll datasets to ensure data accuracy and consistency
- Perform salary data validation and reconciliation processes
- Create and maintain MIS reports for HR and payroll operations
- Develop dashboards and analytical reports using advanced Excel tools
- Utilize functions such as VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Power Query, Macros, and advanced formulas
- Manage large datasets while ensuring reporting precision and compliance standards
- Support HR operations with data insights for workforce planning and payroll analysis
- Identify data discrepancies and recommend corrective actions
- Collaborate with HR and finance stakeholders for reporting requirements
- Assist in automation and improvement of payroll reporting processes
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Finance, Human Resources, or related field
- Proven experience in HR payroll data analysis
- Strong expertise in Advanced Microsoft Excel, including:
- VLOOKUP and XLOOKUP
- Pivot Tables
- Power Query
- Macros and Advanced Formulas
- Dashboard creation
- Solid understanding of payroll processes and HR operations
- Experience working with large datasets and maintaining reporting accuracy
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and data validation capabilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in dashboard development and visualization
- Knowledge of Power BI is an advantage
- Exposure to business intelligence reporting or HR analytics environments
