Job Overview

This is a compelling opportunity for a skilled and creative video editing professional to join a dynamic remote production team as a Digital Content Editor specialising in Olive Video Editor. As digital content consumption continues to grow at an unprecedented pace across web, social media, and streaming platforms globally, the demand for technically proficient and creatively driven editors who can deliver polished, high-quality productions within efficient workflows has never been greater. This role places you at the heart of that demand, working alongside talented creative professionals to produce content that engages, informs, and inspires audiences across digital channels.

In this role, you will apply your specialist expertise in Olive Video Editor — including its distinctive node-based editing architecture, keyframing capabilities, and advanced compositing tools — to assemble, refine, and deliver media projects to the highest professional standards. You will be responsible not only for the technical execution of video edits but also for maintaining organised media asset pipelines, optimising project performance, and contributing creatively to the storytelling vision of each production. The remote nature of the role requires a high degree of self-motivation, clear communication, and the ability to manage deliverables independently within agreed timelines.

This position offers strong career development potential within the growing field of digital content production and post-production. Editors who build deep expertise in specialist tools such as Olive Video Editor, combined with skills in colour grading, animated graphics, and audio post-production, are well positioned to progress into Senior Editor, Post-Production Supervisor, Creative Director, and Motion Graphics Lead roles across digital media agencies, broadcast organisations, and in-house content teams globally. The contract nature of this role also provides the professional flexibility to build a diverse portfolio across multiple high-profile projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit and assemble high-quality video content using Olive Video Editor, ensuring seamless transitions, precise keyframing, and consistent visual quality across all deliverables

  • Implement transitions, visual effects, and audio enhancements to produce polished and professional final outputs
  • Manage and organise media assets efficiently, maintaining structured project files and production folders to support streamlined and scalable workflows
  • Collaborate closely with remote team members to understand project briefs, contribute creative input, and deliver on-brand digital content within agreed deadlines
  • Troubleshoot technical performance issues, optimise project settings, and ensure smooth playback quality and reliable export processes
  • Maintain clear, consistent, and professional written and verbal communication with the client team, providing regular project updates, progress reports, and feedback
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of editing workflows, production standards, and quality assurance processes across media projects
