Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Risk Data & Modelling Expert to support a major government-related tax and compliance initiative in Qatar. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the acquisition, validation, cleansing, storage, governance, and management of tax data assets.
• Develop and oversee data governance frameworks to ensure data quality, consistency, security, and controlled access.
• Analyze tax, compliance, and regulatory data using advanced statistical and analytical methodologies.
• Design, develop, validate, and review predictive models supporting risk assessment and audit targeting.
• Monitor tax gaps and identify compliance risks through advanced modelling techniques.
• Build executive dashboards, analytical reports, and decision-support solutions for senior leadership.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to define data and analytics requirements.
• Coordinate with IT teams to implement predictive analytics solutions and automated reporting capabilities.
• Review and analyze international tax information exchange data for compliance monitoring and risk assessment.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• Master’s Degree is highly preferred.

Certifications

• Relevant professional certifications in Data Analytics, Risk Management, Data Science, Business Intelligence, Statistical Modelling, or Compliance Analytics are highly preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 16 years of experience in data analytics, statistical modelling, predictive analytics, risk analytics, or compliance analytics.
• Experience within tax administration, government agencies, financial services, regulatory organizations, or compliance-focused environments is highly desirable.
• Proven track record of leading enterprise-scale analytics and risk management initiatives.

Technical Skills

• Advanced expertise in predictive modelling and statistical analysis.
• Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks and data quality management.
• Experience with business intelligence platforms and advanced reporting solutions.
