Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support cloud platforms that underpin critical digital services
• Operate and manage Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments
• Perform cluster configuration, upgrades, scaling, and workload troubleshooting
• Lead platform incident resolution and conduct root cause analysis
• Design and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform
• Build, enhance, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and YAML
• Implement secure networking architectures and cloud security best practices
• Develop and maintain observability solutions using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve platform reliability and performance
• Contribute to platform strategy, architecture decisions, and cloud engineering standards
• Mentor engineers and promote best practices across technical teams

Requirements & Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline preferred

Experience

• Proven experience in Azure cloud engineering and platform operations
• Strong experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure environments
• Prior experience in senior-level platform engineering, DevOps, or cloud engineering roles preferred

Technical Skills

• Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, Identity, Governance)
• Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Azure DevOps and YAML-based CI/CD pipelines
• Terraform Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Kubernetes administration, scaling, upgrades, and troubleshooting

Security Clearance Requirements

• Eligibility for SC (Security Check) Clearance
• Minimum five years of continuous UK residency
