Job Overview

PCBS (Precast Building System Co. Ltd.) is looking for an experienced Structural Engineer to join its technical team in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in structural design, precast concrete systems, engineering analysis, and project coordination.

The Structural Engineer will support the Technical Manager in delivering high-quality precast engineering solutions while ensuring project deliverables meet client specifications, contractual requirements, and industry standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for structural calculations, design reviews, technical coordination, and supporting project execution from design through production.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Technical Manager in delivering project requirements according to schedule.
• Assign and monitor engineering tasks within the design team.
• Perform structural calculations and analysis for project approvals.
• Review and validate General Arrangement Drawings (GAD).
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and client requirements.
• Participate in technical meetings and design coordination activities.
• Monitor design modifications and issue Notices of Variation in Design (NDV) when required.
• Respond to Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with production teams and provide technical support.
• Ensure all designs comply with PCBS standards and contractual obligations.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience within the precast concrete industry.
• Proven experience in structural design and engineering analysis.

Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in structural engineering principles and precast systems.
• Proficiency in:
  • ETABS
  • SAFE
  • SAP2000
  • AutoCAD
• Experience preparing structural calculations and design documentation.
• Knowledge of engineering standards, codes, and construction practices.

Soft Skills

• Strong technical and analytical capabilities.
